Laser Resurfacing

What it is

Laser resurfacing involves using concentrated beams of light to remove layers of damaged skin and stimulate new growth. Commonly used on the face to treat wrinkles, acne scars, and uneven skin tone, it can also address fine lines around the eyes and mouth. Ablative lasers may require up to two weeks of recovery, while non-ablative options have minimal downtime.

Types

Ablative Lasers (CO2, Erbium): Remove the outer skin layer for significant results.

Non-Ablative Lasers: Target deeper skin layers without damaging the surface.

Fractional Lasers: Treat small portions of the skin for quicker recovery.

Benefits

Restores smoothness, evens tone and improves overall skin quality.
